The number of layers depends on the logo design. Some designs can add multiple layers. Also, keep in mind that as the layers pile up, the overall thickness increases too. If a logo is well done, a single layer can be pretty impressive.
1 Layer - 3D LettersIf there is only 1 layer, we can still make an impressive sign with thicker acrylic. The thickness of the acrylic is actually the depth of the design. In general, the thicker the acrylic, the better the signs will project out. But that is not always the case. In most cases, a 10mm thickness will be good enough. If your budget allows it, go for 20mm thick. Though it is referred to as 3D Letters (a jargon used in the signage industry), it is understood that shapes and lines can also be cut out. Editor's Note:
